Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our System Vice President Revenue Cycle Support Services, you will spearhead oversight for revenue cycle support services across CommonSpirit. This pivotal role encompasses critical functions such as system access management, payer portal optimization, comprehensive onboarding and training initiatives, and supporting Epic operational workflow enhancements. You will lead efforts in facility enrollment, ensure robust revenue cycle compliance, drive innovation through revenue cycle informatics, and provide essential project management support to diverse revenue cycle functions.

Every day you will ensure the seamless and effective enablement of revenue cycle operations through the development and implementation of standardized tools, processes, and robust governance frameworks. You will forge close partnerships with hospital and revenue cycle leaders, IT, compliance teams, clinical leadership, and external partners. This collaboration is crucial for guaranteeing that support services are meticulously aligned with operational needs, meet all stringent regulatory requirements, and address specific regional priorities, ultimately enhancing the overall performance and efficiency of the revenue cycle.

To be successful in this impactful role, you will bring extensive experience in revenue cycle management and healthcare support services. Your proven ability to establish and enforce operational standards, drive workflow optimization, and manage complex projects will be essential. You will possess strong leadership and collaboration skills, enabling you to effectively coordinate with diverse stakeholders and ensure that all support functions contribute directly to achieving optimal revenue cycle performance and superior patient access experiences.

As a remote employee, we will provide you with the equipment needed to work from home, including a laptop, docking station, dual monitors, and accessories.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead regional oversight of revenue cycle support services, including system access, payer portals, and Epic optimization.
  • Provide strategic direction for credentialing, enrollment enablement, and technical support teams.
  • Direct vendor performance management for all support services, ensuring adherence to SLAs and contract terms.
  • Own regional payer portal enablement, establishing access standards and continuity planning for revenue cycle operations.
  • Lead the onboarding and training strategy for revenue cycle users, defining standards and required learning pathways.
  • Define and govern access provisioning for revenue cycle systems, ensuring consistent and timely enablement.

  • Bachelors degree
  • 10+ years demonstrated experience in the understanding and management of healthcare revenue cycle
  • 12+ years in the healthcare industry with proven experience in a large, complex, multi-facility healthcare environment with the ability to collaborate and work with people at all levels
