Job description

Company Overview
ClearView Healthcare Partners is a premier life sciences strategy consulting firm headquartered in Boston, with offices in San Francisco, New York City, London, Zurich and Gurgaon. Serving clients in the biopharmaceutical, medical device, and diagnostic spaces, we provide world-class strategic decision-making support across a diverse range of business issues. Our goal is to inform actionable recommendations that allow companies to achieve their business objectives.
Role Overview
ClearView Healthcare Partners is seeking a Staffing Manager to join our growing Resource Management team. This is a high-impact role at the center of how ClearView deploys its consulting talent - sitting at the intersection of People, Operations, and Finance, and directly influencing both individual career trajectories and the firm's financial performance.
You will serve as the dedicated staffing partner for multiple pillars of our business, building deep knowledge of the people, work, and leadership within those pillars while collaborating closely with the broader RM team to support cross-pillar staffing. You will work alongside a peer Staffing Manager and report to the Director of Resource Management & Learning Development.
Responsibilities
Pillar partnership & talent management
  • Serve as the primary staffing relationship manager for multiple pillars' leadership, developing a deep understanding of each pillar's strategic priorities, project pipeline, and talent needs
  • Build and maintain individual-level knowledge of your pillar's staff (strengths, development areas, career goals, and staffing history) to inform smarter matching decisions
  • Facilitate professional development conversations with billable staff as needed, particularly where staffing patterns reflect growth opportunities or emerging concerns

Day-to-day staffing & matching
  • Review and finalize first-pass staffing recommendations prepared by the Senior Associate, applying judgment on fit, development goals, and workload balance
  • When necessary, independently drive decision making on individual staffing decisions

Cross-pillar collaboration
  • Partner daily with the peer Staffing Manager to coordinate cross-pillar staffing requests, sharing talent visibility and maintaining a consistent staffing process across the firm
  • Contribute to joint review of the unassigned (generalist) talent pool alongside your peers, ensuring unassigned staff are deployed thoughtfully and in line with their development goals
  • Participate in project lead-level staffing decisions in partnership with the Director, applying shared criteria and process consistently

Data, reporting & process
  • Manage utilization tracking - providing guidance on forward-looking bandwidth within assigned pillars and company
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of staffing processes, tools, and documentation as the RM function scales

Qualifications
  • 5-8 years of experience in resource management, workforce planning, or talent deployment, ideally in a professional services or life sciences consulting environment
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and multiple stakeholder relationships simultaneously
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable having direct conversations with project leads, leadership, and staff about staffing decisions and development
  • Analytical mindset - comfortable working with staffing data, utilization metrics, and capacity models to inform decisions
  • Collaborative by default; experience working in a team-based staffing model where coordination and information sharing are essential
  • Familiarity with PSA systems or staffing tools a plus; experience with Salesforce preferred; experience at a consulting firm strongly preferred
  • We work in a hybrid model, the in office expectation for this position is 40%.

The base salary range for this position is $120,000 - $140,000.
The base pay will vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills and experience. In addition to the base salary, you will be eligible for an annual discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package.
What We Value
We recognize that not every candidate will meet every qualification listed. If you're excited about this role and believe you have relevant experience or transferable skills, we encourage you to apply. We value curiosity, a growth mindset, and a commitment to collaboration.
Equal Opportunity Employer
ClearView Healthcare Partners ("CV") is an Equal Opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will be considered for employment without regard to sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, race, color, religion, national origin, disability, protected Veteran status, age, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law.
