Location: Timmins, ON (Relocation Available Anywhere in Ontario)

We are seeking a Civil Project Manager with experience in heavy civil construction, including sewer and watermain, underground utilities, road construction, deep excavation, and municipal infrastructure projects. The Role

As the Civil Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of heavy civil infrastructure projects based in the Timmins region.

You will work closely with Superintendents, Project Coordinators, Estimators, subcontractors, consultants, and municipal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

This role requires strong leadership, field awareness, and the ability to manage multiple project components in a dynamic construction environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage heavy civil infrastructure projects from pre-construction through completion
  • Oversee project schedules, budgets, forecasting, and cost control
  • Coordinate Superintendents, Project Coordinators, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Manage client, consultant, and municipal relationships throughout project delivery
  • Support procurement, subcontract management, and construction planning activities
  • Monitor project progress and proactively resolve issues and risks
  • Ensure compliance with contract requirements, specifications, and safety standards
  • Lead project meetings, reporting, and stakeholder communication
  • Support change management, claims, and project documentation
  • Collaborate with estimating and operations teams on project execution strategies
  • Ensure strong health & safety performance across all site activities
  • Contribute to continuous improvement in project delivery and execution

Who You Are

  • 7+ years of Project Management experience in heavy civil or municipal infrastructure construction
  • Strong experience with:
    • Sewer & watermain installation
    • Underground utilities
    • Road construction and rehabilitation
    • Deep excavation and earthworks
    • Municipal or infrastructure projects
  • Proven ability to manage full project lifecycle responsibilities
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, and cost control
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Experience managing subcontractors, field teams, and client relationships
  • Comfortable working in a remote or regional construction environment
  • Willing and able to relocate anywhere within Ontario for this opportunity
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and project management tools
  • Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related background considered an asset
