Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Frontend Developer (Core) based in Netherlands.

This is a senior-level engineering role focused on building and evolving large-scale, user-facing web applications that connect millions of people across global markets. You will work at the core of complex frontend systems, shaping architecture, performance, and user experience across high-traffic products used internationally. The role combines hands-on React development with technical leadership, where you will design scalable solutions, refactor existing systems, and ensure smooth, high-performance user interactions. You will collaborate with distributed, multicultural teams in a fully remote environment, contributing to products that directly impact how people connect and interact online. The environment is fast-moving, product-driven, and highly collaborative, with a strong emphasis on autonomy, ownership, and engineering excellence. This role is ideal for a developer who enjoys solving complex frontend challenges at scale while influencing both technical direction and user experience.

Accountabilities:
  • Develop and enhance high-quality frontend features for large-scale web applications using React and TypeScript.
  • Refactor and improve existing functionality to ensure maintainability, scalability, and performance across global products.
  • Optimize application speed, responsiveness, and overall user experience across different devices and environments.
  • Design robust technical solutions and contribute to frontend architecture decisions for complex systems.
  • Break down technical requirements into actionable tasks and independently deliver end-to-end implementations.
  • Participate in code reviews and uphold high engineering standards across the frontend codebase.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between product goals, UX design, and technical execution.
Requirements
  • Several years of professional experience in frontend development, ideally building complex React-based applications at scale.
  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern frontend development practices.
  • Solid understanding of software design principles, including practical application of SOLID principles.
  • Familiarity with Functional Reactive Programming (FRP) concepts, either theoretical or practical.
  • Understanding of HTTP(S) and WebSocket protocols and their behavior in real-world applications.
  • Ability to independently analyze technical requirements and break them into structured, deliverable tasks.
  • Strong awareness of UX/UI principles and how native interface components behave and should feel.
  • Experience participating in code reviews and contributing to engineering quality standards.
  • Fluent Russian language skills.
Benefits
  • Fully remote, full-time work opportunity with global flexibility.
  • 28 calendar days of annual vacation.
  • 7 additional wellness days per year for rest and personal needs without using sick leave.
  • Annual bonuses of up to $5,000 for successful employee referrals.
  • 50% reimbursement for professional development, training, and international conferences.
  • Corporate discounts for English language learning programs.
  • Health-related support of up to $1,000 per year for insurance or medical expenses for you and eligible family members.
  • Workplace setup support, including equipment provision or reimbursement for home office/co-working space.
  • Internal gamified reward system where employees earn points for recognition and exchange them for perks, merchandise, and experiences.
