Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst to support the planning, analysis, and implementation of a new Unified Communications (UC) platform. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams by translating business needs into detailed system requirements, facilitating solution design discussions, and ensuring successful project execution.

This role requires strong analytical skills, experience documenting system requirements, and the ability to collaborate effectively with business analysts, developers, testers, and infrastructure teams.

Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Analysis & Requirements Management
  • Assist in developing Statements of Work (SOW) for System Integrators supporting UC platform implementation initiatives.
  • Participate in business requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders, business analysts, and technical teams.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into comprehensive System Requirements Documents (SRDs).
  • Create and maintain process flow diagrams, system impact assessments, and functional specifications.
  • Identify and document both functional and non-functional system requirements.
  • Ensure requirements are accurately communicated and delivered to development teams.
Solution Design & Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Identify project stakeholders and collaborate with Information Systems partners to design effective solutions.
  • Facilitate solution design sessions involving developers, business analysts, architects, and testing teams.
  • Create screen layouts, wireframes, and user interface mockups to support development efforts.
  • Conduct peer reviews and incorporate feedback into requirements documentation.
  • Support business analysts, developers, and QA teams throughout the solution lifecycle.
Testing & Quality Assurance
  • Lead requirements walkthroughs with development and testing teams to ensure alignment and understanding.
  • Review test coverage and assist in prioritizing test scenarios for quality assurance activities.
  • Analyze defects, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Validate that implemented solutions meet documented business and system requirements.
Project Support & Governance
  • Track project deliverables, milestones, and key requirements-related activities.
  • Provide effort estimates and support project planning initiatives.
  • Manage change requests and maintain requirements traceability using requirements management tools.
  • Support governance processes and ensure documentation accuracy throughout the project lifecycle.
Collaboration & Communication
  • Foster an inclusive and collaborative work environment by valuing diverse perspectives and communication styles.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across business and technical teams.
  • Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
