Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough and accurate comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health concerns, formulating clinical diagnoses, and creating detailed treatment plans tailored to each individual's need.
  • Deliver individual, group, and family therapy through evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or other relevant techniques, adapting approaches based on client feedback and progress.
  • Provide immediate crisis intervention and support to clients facing acute mental health challenges, facilitating stabilization and connecting them to appropriate resources.
  • Maintain and document accurate client records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and assessment results, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards of confidentiality and professional practice.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and social workers, to provide comprehensive and holistic care for clients, participating in case consultations and team meetings as needed.
  • Educate clients and their families regarding various mental health issues, treatment options, and community resources, advocating for their needs and rights throughout the process.
  • Engage in professional development through ongoing training and workshops to remain abreast of the latest research, techniques, and best practices in mental health therapy.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role caters to a diverse clientele, including individuals, couples, families, and groups, who present with various mental health challenges ranging from anxiety, depression, PTSD, and relationship issues to family dynamics. As a licensed therapist, you will work to create a personalized therapeutic experience that resonates with clients' unique backgrounds, cultures, and individual circumstances.

Qualifications
  • Must hold a current and valid license to practice as a Mental Health Therapist (e.g., LMFT, LPCC, LCSW).
