Description

Our client is seeking a Senior Product Designer to lead the next evolution of a Rewards mobile app, a key platform within it's pediatric nutrition business.

This role will drive Phase 2 transformation, shifting the app from a foundational launch into a best-in-class loyalty, engagement, and eCommerce experience.

You will operate as the Senior designer and strategic partner, working closely with business stakeholders and product teams to define product direction, lead workshops, and bring clarity to highly ambiguous requirements.

Background:

- The Rewards app has already launched on iOS and Android

- Initial release was a "lift-and-shift", resulting in a basic mobile experience

- The app is now entering Phase 2, focused on expansion, differentiation, and growth

This is a Senior, strategy-heavy design role. You will lead the end-to-end loyalty program design, translate vague business requirements into concrete product strategies, and shape the future experience of the loyalty program & eCommerce experience for consumers. This is not only a production role - it requires ownership, initiative and strategic thinking.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategy and Workshop Leadership

- Lead working sessions and workshops with business partners and cross-functional teams

- Translate high level ideas into:

- Structured product concepts

- Experience frameworks

- Prioritized feature sets

- Act as a though partner to a business team with limited product/marketing maturity

2. Industry Research & Strategic Recommendations

- Conduct secondary research on:

- Loyalty ecosystems

- Gamification trends

- eCommerce experiences

- Provide:

- Strategic recommendations

- Competitive insights

- Best practices to inform product decisions on eCommerce and Loyalty Program app experiences

3. Mobile App Design (iOS & Android):

- Design across both platforms, ensuring consistency and excellence

- Apply deep knowledge of:

- Apple App Store guidelines

- Google Plat Store standards

4. eCommerce Experience Design (Must Have)

- Design end-to-end flows for:

- Product purchasing

- Rewards redemption

- Promotions and offers

- Balance:

- Customer engagement

- Long term retention

5. Visual Design Excellence:

- Deliver high-quality, polished visual design

- Potentially help align the experience with updated brand standards

- Maintain a strong focus on mobile-first visual quality and usability

6. Design Seniority & Scaling:

- Service as the Senior designer on the program

- Establish initial design direction and systems

- Manage a high volume of design outputs as new features are introduced
