A highly respected Data Center and Building Automation contractor is seeking an experienced BAS Application Engineer (Mid & Senior Level) to join their team in Chicago, IL. This position is ideal for controls professionals with strong BAS programming, integration, and system engineering experience, with opportunities to work on complex, mission-critical facilities.   • Title: BAS Application Engineer (Mid & Sr. Level)

  • Commission programs, verify logic, and validate overall system performance.
  • Maintain and apply standardized programming and documentation practices.
  • Collaborate with HVAC, MEP, mechanical, and IT teams to support project delivery.
  • Troubleshoot BMS servers, networks, field controllers, and IoT-enabled devices.
Ideal Candidate:
  • Background as a Controls Technician, Programmer, or Application Engineer.
  • Strong proficiency in BAS programming, troubleshooting, and integration.
  • Experience with any BAS platform; Tridium Niagara is a strong plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and comfort working across multidisciplinary teams.
