This remote position allows for flexible working conditions while continuing to work effectively within the school environment. You will collaborate with school personnel, including teachers and administrators, supporting students' social and emotional needs through virtual or on-site engagements. Regular business hours are observed, with occasional evening or weekend hours required for special events or community outreach programs.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' social, emotional, and psychological needs using validated tools and methodologies.
• Provide one-on-one and group counseling sessions, employing evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as cognitive behavioral therapy and solution-focused therapy.
• Develop individualized service plans tailored to meet the goals and objectives of each student, in collaboration with school staff and families.
• Advocate fiercely for students’ rights, ensuring they have access to necessary resources and support, including educational accommodations.
• Contribute to ongoing program development and evaluation by collecting data, drafting reports, and assisting with grant writing to secure continued funding for crucial initiatives.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions for teachers and staff to promote awareness and understanding of mental health issues and trauma-informed practices.
• Collaborate with external community organizations, healthcare providers, and governmental agencies to enhance and coordinate service delivery.
• Participate actively in team meetings, providing input on developing best practices and improving services.

Your primary focus will be on school-aged children and adolescents who face a variety of challenges, including trauma, behavioral issues, and academic difficulties. By understanding the unique pressures that today’s students encounter, you will be equipped to offer timely and effective support that empowers them to thrive academically and socially.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program is required.
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory for this position.
• Demonstrated understanding of social justice principles and advocacy, particularly in relation to the school environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of expressing complex concepts clearly and empathetically.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively, ensuring deadlines are met.

• Previous experience in a nonprofit organization or similar setting, with a focus on school-based social work or child and adolescent mental health.
• Knowledgeable in trauma-informed care practices and approaches to social-emotional learning.
• Experience collaborating with educational staff and multidisciplinary teams to support student success.

This position offers a competitive salary range of $75,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, we provide the following benefits:
