Job description

Job Title: Cloud Security Engineer

Location: Remote

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement security architecture for cloud-based systems.
  • Develop and enforce cloud security policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Perform risk assessments and threat modeling on cloud environments.
  • Configure security controls, firewalls, IAM policies, and network segmentation in cloud platforms.
  • Monitor and respond to security incidents and alerts using SIEM tools.
  • Collaborate with DevOps and IT teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines.
  • Conduct regular audits, penetration testing, and vulnerability scans.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and SOC 2.
  • Stay updated with emerging cloud security threats and mitigation strategies.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Experience in cloud security engineering or similar role.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP security services.
  • Strong understanding of cloud IAM, encryption, key management, and secure networking.
  • Experience in tools like CloudTrail, GuardDuty, Security Hub, Sentinel, and Prisma Cloud.
