Job Description The Michigan Department of Treasury seeks an Economic Analyst to join our team and support critical research that informs statewide fiscal and economic decisions. This entry-level role is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start or grow a career in economics, public policy, or data analysis. In this position, you will: Collect, organize, and validate economic and revenue data related to both the U.S

Qualifying 'professional experience' is only taken into consideration post-bachelor's degree. Economic Analyst 9 No specific type or amount is required. Economic Analyst 10 One year of professional experience performing economic analysis and modeling activities equivalent to an Economic Analyst 9.

Economic Analyst P11 Two years of professional experience performing economic analysis and modeling activities equivalent to an Economic Analyst, including one year equivalent to an Economic Analyst 10. If you are a State of Michigan resident, this position is eligible to work remotely three days per week (Monday, Thursday, and Friday) and is required to work on-site at the assigned official workstation two days per week (Tuesday and Wednesday). Additionally, the selected candidate must have a secure, safe and appropriate designated workspace that allows privacy and prevents distractions while performing the duties of this position, as well as secure and sufficient internet access of commercial cable or wireless broadband with minimum speeds of 25 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload.
