Johnson's Harbor Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our remote team in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This full-time position allows you to leverage telehealth services while providing vital mental health support to individuals in diverse communities. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs.
  • Provide crisis intervention and develop effective pre-crisis and crisis management strategies, including behavioral guidelines and risk assessments.
  • Maintain precise and timely documentation to comply with regulatory standards and ensure continuity of care.
  • Utilize evidence-based screening tools to evaluate client progress and inform treatment decisions in collaboration with the clinical team.
  • Participate actively in the development and implementation of positive behavior support plans as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development through attendance at conferences, workshops, and statewide meetings to enhance expertise and represent Johnson's Harbor Therapy.
  • Serve as a liaison between clients and relevant service systems, including state agencies and community organizations, to advocate for client needs.
  • Promote the agency's mission, values, and philosophy in all interactions with clients, colleagues, and community partners.
  • Complete additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director, contributing to the success of the team and organization.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The Licensed Mental Health Counselor will serve a diverse client population, including individuals facing emotional challenges related to mental health disorders, substance use, and situational stressors. Qualifications
