What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a remote engineering consultant, and why are they important?

To excel as a Remote Engineering Consultant, you need strong analytical abilities, engineering expertise in your specialty, and a relevant engineering degree or certification such as a Professional Engineer (PE) license. Familiarity with CAD software, project management tools like Asana or Jira, and communication platforms such as Slack or Zoom is usually required.
