Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and comprehensive evaluations of clients to create personalized treatment plans that address their specific needs.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, utilizing a variety of modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy across individual, couple, family, and group counseling settings.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team—including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers—to ensure cohesive and holistic care for every client.

• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with ethical guidelines and state regulations while contributing to the ongoing development of best practices within the clinic.

• Engage in continuous professional development by staying current with industry research, attending workshops, and seeking out relevant learning opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A valid and active licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Virginia.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably in a clinical environment.

• Strong knowledge of ethical and legal concepts surrounding counseling practice.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the capacity to build rapport quickly and inspire trust in clients.

• Familiarity with EMR systems and proficiency in standard office software.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization in particular therapeutic areas, such as trauma-informed care, substance use disorders, or family therapy, is highly desirable.

• Experience working within a team that collaborates across disciplines to provide comprehensive client care.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload.
