As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Relationship Behavioral Health Services, your typical day may include:

• Conducting initial assessments to evaluate client needs, strengths, and areas for improvement.
• Developing customized treatment plans based on individual and family dynamics, as well as cultural considerations.
• Facilitating individual, couples, and family therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices such as CBT, EMDR, or TF-CBT.
• Providing psychoeducation to clients about various mental health issues and coping mechanisms.
• Maintaining up-to-date documentation through our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system to ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Engaging in regular supervision and peer consultation to ensure the best therapeutic outcomes.
• Participating in community outreach initiatives to educate the public about mental health resources and support.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care for clients when necessary.

The diverse client population we serve includes children, adolescents, and adults from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. Our therapists must be adept at addressing a wide range of issues, including but not limited to trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges. Family systems and their unique dynamics are considered in all treatment approaches, ensuring that no one feels marginalized during their healing journey.

To qualify for the position, candidates must possess the following:

• A Master’s Degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Studies, or a closely related field from an accredited program.
• A valid, active LMFT license without restrictions.
• Strong bilingual skills in English and Spanish, enabling effective communication in therapy sessions.
• At least two years of experience working in a mental health setting with a demonstrated ability to engage with families and individuals.
• A commitment to culturally informed practices that respect the client's background and experiences.
• Competency in utilizing telehealth technology and EHR systems for efficient service delivery.

While not mandatory, the following experiences and skills are preferred:

• Specialization in one or more therapeutic areas such as trauma recovery, LGBTQ+ issues, grief and loss, or perinatal mental health.
• Previous training or certifications in modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
• Experience as an in-network provider on multiple insurance panels to facilitate broader access to services.

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 105,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications, in addition to potential performance bonuses.
