What is a Remote Embryologist?

A Remote Embryologist is a trained specialist who oversees and assists with the fertilization and development of embryos in assisted reproductive technologies (ART), such as in vitro fertilization (IVF), from a remote location. Using specialized software, secure video feeds, and data systems, remote embryologists can monitor laboratory activities, analyze embryo development, and provide expert guidance to onsite lab teams. This role allows clinics to access embryology expertise even if an embryologist is not physically present, improving patient care and laboratory efficiency.
