Job description

We are hiring a Digital Account Associate who can help us take our digital department services to the next level.

The Digital Account Associate position offers a great opportunity for professional development and growth in the world of digital marketing. The ideal candidate has not only an interest in politics but also a passion for advocacy and a variety of public affairs work. The Candidate should have strong copywriting skills and a positive, all-in attitude that aligns with ColdSpark’s core values.

The Candidate will assist the digital accounts team in managing digital services for our political, advocacy, and nonprofit clients, which includes writing email copy, managing client requests, thinking proactively about creative opportunities for our clients, drafting content calendars, mocking emails, writing social media copy, and living and breathing the plethora of platforms we use.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist account managers and associates in executing our digital services (email marketing, media buying, social media creation, and website upkeep) across all clients. 

  • Maintain and update content calendars and performance reporting dashboards to ensure timely delivery of digital content.

  • Assist account leads in drafting compelling, timely and well-written copy that aligns with client goals and messaging for a variety of different digital channels including email, websites, social media, and online advertising. 

  • Create and configure landing pages to support digital marketing campaigns.

  • Monitor and update digital fundraising and paid advertising performance dashboards to track and report on the performance of digital campaigns.

  • Assist in onboarding new clients, ensuring a smooth transition and well-documented setup that is consistent with our standard operating procedures.

  • Provide creative organic social media copywriting and scheduling support to digital accounts team.

  • Track and respond to support tickets related to digital platforms to ensure the issue is addressed timely and effectively communicated with clients.

  • Mockup, approve and send emails using the existing quality assurance procedure in place for our email-sending platform. 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience required

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience with:

    • Email sending platforms such as Constant Contact or Mailchimp, familiarity with Iterable is a bonus. 

  • Google Suite, Microsoft Office products (most notably Word and Excel), and WordPress are preferred.  

    • CRM (Salesforce, Bloomerang, Kindful) and online fundraising platform (WinRed, Anedot) experience is a plus.

  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience with:

    • Organic or paid social media or email content production for a company or organization.
