Elite Mind Psychological Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis. Work Environment

This position is entirely remote, allowing you to provide services from the comfort of your own home while maintaining a strong connection with our outpatient office in Fort Worth. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the severity, frequency, and duration of clients' mood disorder symptoms, applying a client-centered approach.
• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that align with their individual needs, goals, and preferences.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate effective client outcomes.
• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and essential self-care techniques to promote wellness.
• Regularly monitor and document client progress, adapting treatment strategies as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Work integratively with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.
• Stay current with emerging research and best practices in mood disorder treatment to enhance the efficacy of therapeutic interventions.
• Maintain precise and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring the highest quality of care.
• Engage in professional development initiatives to expand your expertise in addiction counseling and mental health advocacy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our LMFT will primarily work with individuals experiencing mood disorders, which include but are not limited to depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Additionally, our clients may comprise marginalized groups or those affected by trauma, including domestic abuse survivors, refugees, and homeless individuals. This diverse clientele offers a rewarding opportunity to make meaningful contributions towards improved mental health outcomes.

Qualifications

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field is mandatory for this position.

• Demonstrated empathy, compassion, and a nonjudgmental approach towards clients’ experiences and struggles are expected.

Preferred Experience

Previous experience working in a clinical setting that focuses on mood disorders or similar issues is highly preferred. Familiarity with outpatient therapy practices and evidenced-based treatment methodologies will enhance performance in this role.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000, determined by qualifications and experience.
