Position Overview

Elite Mind Psychological Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to become an integral part of our team. This remote role allows therapists to provide outstanding care in an outpatient setting, offering support to individuals grappling with mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Work Environment

This full-time position is primarily remote but offers the opportunity for in-person collaboration at our outpatient office when necessary. You will work Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., ensuring a balanced work-life dynamic. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mood disorder symptoms, including their intensity, frequency, and duration.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop individualized treatment plans that reflect their unique goals and preferences, ensuring a person-centered approach.
  • Implement evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to improve client outcomes.
  • Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies to foster understanding and empowerment.
  • Monitor and document client progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans based on their responses and needs.
  • Engage with psychiatrists and other medical staff to provide integrated care, enhancing the overall treatment experience.
  • Stay abreast of the latest research in mood disorder treatment to continually refine and enhance therapeutic approaches.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in accordance with ethical and legal standards.
  • Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and further professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills.
  • Advocate for clients’ mental health needs and challenge stigma associated with mood disorders.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Elite Mind Psychological Center, you will work primarily with clients suffering from mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Your role will involve supporting diverse populations, including homeless individuals, refugees, and survivors of domestic violence, all of whom require understanding and differentiated therapeutic approaches tailored to their experiences and backgrounds. You will play a critical role in facilitating their recovery journeys by providing empathetic care and guidance.

Qualifications
  • A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, establishing trust and rapport with clients.
  • A compassionate, nonjudgmental attitude, demonstrating empathy towards clients’ experiences in a therapeutic setting.
  • Strong organizational skills and effective time-management strategies to handle responsibilities efficiently.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working with diverse populations, particularly those facing significant challenges such as homelessness and domestic violence.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities and techniques.
  • Participation in community outreach or public advocacy related to mental health would be advantageous.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 90,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
