Job Duties
As our Mod Sales Enablement & Business DevelopmentDirector, you willdrive the modernization of business growth strategy by turning KONE's objectives into effective sales processes, tools, training programs, incentives, and execution practices that support profitable growth and strengthen competitiveness. You'll focus on improving sales force effectiveness and commercial performance by equipping teams with the skills, insights, systems, and support needed to win new business, expand customer relationships, and achieve sustainable results. You will work closely with frontline leaders, the role promotes best practices, enhances productivity, strengthens pipeline and forecasting discipline, and ensures successful execution of strategic initiatives in the field..

You willbring 8+ years of progressive and successful experience insales, sales leadership, sales operations, sales enablement, business development, commercial excellence, modernization/service business, or related Business Line leadership. You will usethe knowledgegained through yourbachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Engineering, Finance, Operations or a related field.

Other Listed Duties
  • Support deployment of sales strategies, business development initiatives, and growth programs.

  • Develop and facilitate sales enablement, training, and competency-building activities.

  • Maintain CRM, sales reporting, forecasting, and sales operations governance processes.

  • Analyze sales performance metrics and provide insights to support continuous improvement.

  • Lead change management initiatives and drive adoption of new processes, tools, and best practices.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align priorities and execute strategic programs.

  • Assist in the development of sales collateral, value propositions, incentive programs, and customer growth strategies.

Other Hiring requirements

  • Formal training or certification in sales methodology, sales management, commercial excellence, pricing, change management, business analytics, or adult learning preferred.

  • Demonstrated success developing and implementing sales enablement programs, sales management routines, training, sales tools, CRM adoption and sales force effectiveness initiatives.

  • Experience designing or managing sales incentive plans, KPIs, forecasting, reporting, sales budgets and performance dashboards.

  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives across area, regional, front-line, Americas and global stakeholders.

  • Strong background in translating market intelligence, customer insights and performance analytics into practical growth initiatives.

  • Experience in modernization, service, construction, industrial equipment, building solutions, or complex B2B field sales environment preferred.

Annual Base Pay Range:

This role has been categorized as a remote position. Remote employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. Employees may live in any location within the area of the role's scope of responsibility. The national hiring range for this role is $183,800 - $241,185. The compensation package offered will depend on candidate's ability to meet the requirements of the role, needs for the business strategy, and a range of factors unique to each candidate, including their skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and location.

We will also consider candidates in the following areas.Below are the different ranges applicable to those locations:

  • Lisle, ILarea hiring range:$196,600-$258,090

Variable Compensation

KONE Annual Bonus plan at 25% Target Incentive (70/30) based on achievement of company goals and individual goals.
