Job description

VERSYS (Verified Systems) is a privately-owned thriving company that provides low and medium voltage services for industrial commissioning, start up, maintenance, construction, and panel fabrication in Canada and the US. We are currently looking for a MEP Project Manager for our US division. The MEP Project Manager oversees the coordination, installation, and commissioning of complex building systems. They act as the vital link between general contractors, design teams, and specialty subcontractors, ensuring that all systems integrate seamlessly, meet building codes, and are completed on schedule and within budget.

In this position, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following: 

  • System Coordination: Managing the integration of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and low-voltage systems to prevent spatial clashes and ensure functionality. 
  • Subcontractor Management: Hiring, scheduling, and overseeing specialty trade partners to ensure their work aligns with project specifications.
  • BIM & Submittal Review: Analyzing shop drawings, contract documents, and 3D modeling to ensure constructability and code compliance prior to installation. 
  • Quality Control & Commissioning: Conducting site inspections, enforcing quality control, and managing the testing and turnover phase of systems to the building owner. 
  • Budgeting & Scheduling: Tracking costs, processing monthly invoices, managing material procurement, and identifying schedule risks
