Job description

Job Title: Project Manager Location: Alexandria, Virginia, United States Type: Direct Hire Compensation: Contractor Work Model: Remote โ€“ offsite Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning, execution, governance, and delivery management of large-scale Salesforce CRM system integration projects for NYS Office of Information Technology Services.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including developers, QA, business analysts, and data engineers to ensure project milestones are met on time and within scope.
  • Serve as the primary liaison to NYS ITS stakeholders, providing regular updates and managing stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Oversee Agile/Waterfall methodologies, SDLC processes, and manage vendor deliverables, testing cycles, and production deployments.
  • Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and accessibility standards mandated by NYS.
  • Facilitate data migration, integration, and change management activities to support seamless system implementation.
  • Support production readiness activities and post-go-live stabilization efforts, ensuring a smooth transition to operational status.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience leading large-scale IT projects as a Project Manager, preferably with Salesforce CRM system integrations.
  • Proven experience delivering complex Salesforce licensing, configuration, customization, and integration solutions for federal and/or state agencies.
  • Strong expertise in enterprise project governance, stakeholder management, and managing software development lifecycle processes.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working in highly regulated environments and managing remote teams in enterprise implementations.
  • Ability to oversee vendor management, testing cycles, UAT, and go-live deployments effectively.
