PROJECT MANAGER (Electrical)

LOCATION: Ashburn, Virginia (Remote)

A family-owned business, we make hardware and software to measure and analyze power quality measures for our data centers, mission critical facilities, and industrial manufacturing customers. With our tools, companies can take action to reduce energy costs, improve uptime, and decrease their carbon footprint.

Our North American branch was established in 2018 and continues to grow rapidly. We're seeking a Project Manager with experience in electrical systems, the mission critical industry, construction environments, or data center operations to support sales, assist customers throughout the entire project lifecycle, and provide ongoing training and technical support.

Who You Are

Reporting to the Project Delivery Manager, the Project Manager will support active customer programs across North America. You'll work closely with the sales and operations teams to coordinate complex requirements typical of data center builds, mission critical infrastructure projects, and electrical or lowโ€‘voltage construction scopes.

You demonstrate strong technical and organizational skills and serve as a key interface between customers, internal teams, and third-party partners. You understand the phases of largeโ€‘scale, electrical or mission critical customer environments and can coordinate activities internally to keep projects running smoothly and efficiently.

You bring a detailed, structured approach to tracking activity and communicating progress. You've shown you can work effectively with internal stakeholders and customer teams on electrical, construction, or data center projects.

What You'll Do

  • Outlines the requirements or tasks involved in the project, delegates, and tracks accordingly.
  • Acts as a liaison between Janitza, program customers, integrated 3rd parties, and potentially, vendors.
  • Assist our customers with configuration and setup of Janitza hardware and software.
  • Assess and escalate customer feedback, as required. As new customer requirements arise, provide evaluation and assessment in relation to current or historical needs.
  • Conducts risk assessments as any technical or logistical issues arise; reports identified risks to management; provides recommendations for mitigation of risk.
  • Conducts cost and profit analysis, supporting the finance and management team with reporting related to designated program customers.
  • Work well in a customer-facing position in a team environment.
  • Travel up to 30%.
