Your role and responsibilities:

The Regional Sales Manager (HVAC) is an experienced industry influencer who works to grow ABB's market share regionally by managing dedicated tier-1 Channel Partners and Commercial OEM customers in support of ABB's HVAC Drives product portfolio and market separation strategy. This challenging and rewarding role offers the successful candidate an opportunity to demonstrate superior demand motivation and earned influence while working in a market leading team environment.

The work model for the role is: remote in the United States. There is a preference for the candidate to already be living in the territory which includes Louisiana, Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Kansas and Colorado.

This role supports ABB's Motion Drive Products division in New Berlin, WI.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Communicating to the customers about details related to delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions, in line with ABB's offering and strategy.
  • Ensuring efficient marketing activities and communicates value propositions to customers.
  • Identifying and driving the development of new market opportunities in the designated market.
  • Managing administrative procedures in sales processes and supports cash collection and project management activities, when needed.

Qualifications for the role:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Business, Marketing/Sales or related field with 8+ years of relevant experience within a complex business environment selling products or solutions -
  • Extensive sales and VFD / HVAC application background.
  • Account management history of OEM, End User and Commercial Channel Partners in the HVAC industry.
  • Familiar with CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software tool like SalesForce and PowerBI.
  • This role involves 30-50% travel domestically in the United States and requires a Valid US Driver's License.
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
