We are looking for a hands-on EHS Manager – Field Safety & Compliance who can help strengthen, organize, and lead our safety and compliance program.

This role may be a strong fit for someone with experience as an EHS Manager, Safety Manager, Safety Specialist, EHS Specialist, Field Safety Manager, Construction Safety Manager, Manufacturing Safety Manager, or Compliance Manager.

About the Role

The EHS Manager – Field Safety & Compliance will support safety, training, documentation, and compliance across our manufacturing and field service teams. This is a hands-on role for someone who is comfortable working directly with technicians, supervisors, shop employees, and leadership.

You will help lead safety program improvements, support field and shop compliance, coordinate training, assist with incident investigations, manage documentation, and help keep client safety portals current.

This is a practical, boots-on-the-ground safety role with the opportunity to make a visible impact and help build a stronger safety culture across the company.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead and support safety compliance for shop, field service, installation, and manufacturing operations.

  • Coordinate and document employee safety training, toolbox talks, policy acknowledgments, and new-hire safety onboarding.

  • Maintain OSHA logs, safety records, written programs, inspection records, and compliance documentation.

  • Lead or support incident, near-miss, and injury investigations, including corrective actions and follow-up.

  • Support Job Safety Analysis / Safe Plan of Action use in the field and shop.

  • Manage third-party safety portals such as ISNetworld, Avetta, ComplyWorks, and client-specific systems.

  • Conduct safety walkthroughs, inspections, and follow-up audits at company and client sites.

  • Support PPE standards, availability, and employee compliance.

  • Assist with fleet safety, driver safety documentation, and related follow-up.

  • Work with supervisors and leadership to identify hazards, close gaps, and improve safe work practices.

  • Support emergency response planning, site-specific safety requirements, and client safety expectations.

  • Develop and update practical safety policies, procedures, forms, and training materials.

  • Help reinforce accountability for safe work practices across field and shop operations.

What We’re Looking For
  • 3+ years of safety, compliance, field safety, manufacturing safety, construction safety, or related experience.

  • Comfortable working in a shop, manufacturing, field service, construction, or industrial environment.

  • Ability to communicate clearly with technicians, supervisors, office staff, clients, and leadership.

  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail.

  • Experience with training records, safety documentation, inspections, or compliance tracking.

  • Familiarity with OSHA requirements and general workplace safety practices.

  • Experience supporting or managing incident investigations, corrective actions, and safety follow-up.

  • Willingness to work with client safety portals and compliance systems.

  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 preferred, or willingness to obtain.

  • Experience with JSAs, PPE, fall protection, LOTO, fleet safety, workers’ compensation, or client site safety requirements is a plus.

Schedule & Travel

Typical schedule is Monday–Friday, daytime hours, with some early starts, off-shift support, or travel based on operational needs.

Travel is generally limited and planned, with occasional overnight travel to support field operations, client requirements, training, or audits.
