Ultimate Support Counseling Center is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our remote team. Key Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients' trauma histories and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Create and implement personalized treatment strategies that focus on trauma recovery and resilience; you will apply evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
  • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions that provide safe spaces for clients to process their trauma, develop essential coping mechanisms, and foster emotional healing.
  • Collaborate extensively with psychiatrists, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic and integrated care for all patients.
  • Act swiftly to provide crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring the emotional safety and stability of clients.
  • Educate clients and their families on trauma responses, coping strategies, and available community resources, promoting empowerment and understanding.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards while utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for streamlined operations.
  • Engage in case consultations, team meetings, and continuous professional development focused on trauma-informed methodologies and innovative treatment practices.
  • Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy to continually enhance service delivery and patient outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be working with individuals affected by trauma, including those coping with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You'll provide specialized care for a diverse clientele, tailoring your therapeutic methods to meet individual needs and promoting a path to recovery.

Qualifications
  • Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Active and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.
  • Proven understanding of trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed treatment modalities, and approaches to building resilience.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, complemented by a compassionate approach to caregiving.
Preferred Experience
  • At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting focusing on trauma recovery and mental health counseling.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions that yield tangible results.
  • Familiarity with EHR platforms and other relevant technological tools that enhance patient care.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure and remain composed in high-stress situations.
Compensation and Benefits
