5+ years' experience in design and development of Java/J2EE applications Working knowledge of Enterprise Java technologies (J2EE / Java EE) Over 5 years of application development experience Strong technical skills in Java, J2EE, EJB, WebServices, JSP, JDBC, XML, JavaScript, HTML, CSS Must have object-oriented programming expertise and have sound understanding of design patterns Knowledge of AWS services is required preferable hands-on. Familiarity with building and consuming web services Familiar with SOAP and REST API protocols, as well as HTTP transport concepts Practical knowledge of relational database concepts and SQL queries (DB2 and Oracle preferred) Experience with database Stored Procedures, Triggers, Functions Experience with WebLogic and WebSphere platforms. Experience with Linux OS desirable. Experience with assessment and refactoring of WebLogic/WebSphere applications for cloud readiness on AWS. Excellent written and oral communication skills Knowledge of telecommunications industry helpful. Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently Ability to work either independently or as part of a larger team, depending on project assignments. Dallas preferred. Remote is ok.
