Job description

As Allego's Senior Manager, Customer Education & Enablement, you will build and scale the programs, systems, resources, and learning experiences that help customers realize more value from Allego, become more self-sufficient, and confidently expand their use of the platform. This is a highly visible, hands-on builder role where you'll create customer education from the ground up by developing content, launching scalable learning programs, facilitating customer experiences, and evolving our self-service ecosystem. Working cross-functionally with Customer Success, Product, Marketing, and Enablement, you'll define how customers learn, adopt, and realize value from Allego. You'll have the unique opportunity to shape the customer education experience for a company whose product is enablement itself.

Success in this role means customers are more educated, engaged, and successful with Allego. They can find answers faster, discover more ways to use the platform, and realize greater value from their investment.

What You'll Own
  • Customer Education Strategy & Programs: Define and execute Allego's customer enablement strategy, building scalable programs that help customers learn, engage, and succeed with the platform.
  • Self-Service Knowledge & Resources: Transform Allego's product documentation into a modern self-service experience by creating clear, practical guidance centered around workflows, use cases, best practices, and contextual learning that helps customers solve problems independently.
  • Customer Education & Adoption Experiences: Create engaging educational experiences-including videos, guides, playbooks, webinars, and learning paths that showcase best practices, increase awareness of Allego's capabilities, and help customers achieve meaningful business outcomes.
  • Allego University & Certifications: Design, build, and continuously evolve Allego's customer education ecosystem, including learning paths, certifications, and programs that develop power users, administrators, and customer champions.
  • Templates, Toolkits & Accelerators: Develop turnkey resources, frameworks, and starter kits that help customers quickly understand, adopt, and expand their use of the Allego platform.
  • Customer Engagement Programs: Deliver scalable workshops, webinars, office hours, product showcases, and learning events that increase customer engagement, confidence, and awareness of Allego's capabilities.
  • Enablement Systems & Tooling: Own and evolve the systems that power customer education and self-service experiences, including knowledge management platforms, digital adoption tools, learning programs, and other enablement technologies.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Direct experience building and scaling customer education, customer enablement, or customer training programs within a SaaS organization, ideally serving enablement, sales, marketing, or learning & development professionals.
  • Deep familiarity with Allego, revenue enablement platforms, sales enablement technology, learning technology,  or adjacent software categories.
  • A proven track record of developing and executing customer education strategies grounded in adult learning, enablement, or instructional design principles
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. You are an engaging educator who enjoys being in front of customers and is equally comfortable writing clear, compelling learning content, creating videos and guides, and facilitating workshops, webinars, and other customer learning experiences.
  • Experience owning or administering customer education, knowledge management, digital adoption, learning management, or related enablement technologies.
  • Strong program management skills with the ability to independently build and scale new initiatives from concept through execution.
  • A portfolio of customer-facing educational content, documentation, training materials, videos, or learning programs that demonstrates exceptional communication and instructional design skills is highly valued.

Benefits

Allego offers a competitive, comprehensive benefits package, available to full-time employees on day one:

  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • Unlimited vacation
  • Paid parental leave
  • Health Reimbursement Account (HRA)
  • Flexible Spending Account (FSA)
  • 401(k) with company matching
  • Short & long-term disability, AD&D, and life insurance
  • Allego stock options

Base salary range: $130,000-$160,000
