  • Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, nurturing personal growth, emotional regulation, and effective coping strategies among students.
  • Collaborate closely with educators, occupational therapists, and speech therapists, ensuring a holistic approach to each student's mental health care.
  • Offer immediate crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, demonstrating your ability to stay calm and effective under pressure.
  • Provide psychoeducation to students and their families, guiding them through mental health resources and strategies for improvement.

  • Current and valid LCSW licensure in the state of Colorado.
  • Strong understanding of mental health disorders, trauma-informed care, and evidence-based treatment practices.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in conducting assessments, diagnosing conditions, and formulating effective treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
Preferred Experience
  • Minimum of two years of post-licensure experience with a focus on special education or childhood mental health.
  • Experience delivering both individual and group therapy using various techniques and approaches.
  • Strong crisis intervention capabilities with a proven record of maintaining professionalism during high-stress situations.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and overall computer proficiency.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, engaging openly with colleagues to provide comprehensive care.
