Role purpose

Lead energy- and water-utility digitalization assessments, connecting operational technology, communications, cyber risk, business systems and measurable service outcomes.

Representative assignment problems

Assess AMI, grid/water telemetry, outage/leak management, SCADA/OT, asset management, customer and analytics systems.

Define target architecture, interoperability, instrumentation, operations, maintenance and workforce needs.

Support lifecycle-cost, resilience, financing and implementation analysis for FS/TA/pilot TORs.

Responsibilities

Produce concise, evidence-traceable inputs for Preliminary Assessments, Project Reports, TORs, independent budgets, schedules and the cumulative Final Report.

Participate in rapid mobilization, remote analysis, quality reviews and international travel when assigned.

Coordinate across technical, country, finance, export, resilience and editorial disciplines; surface contradictions and uncertainties early.

Protect Government, sponsor, customer and candidate information; immediately disclose actual, potential or apparent conflicts.

Minimum evidence-based qualifications

10+ years of utility digitalization, SCADA/OT or smart-grid/smart-water assignments.

Direct energy and/or water utility operating knowledge, with specific technology outcomes.

OT cybersecurity, communications and vendor-neutral alternatives experience.

Feasibility, investment planning or TOR development evidence.

U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident; Axyde will request written confirmation but not identity documents during recruiting.

Ability to support proposal or delivery activity on approximately 20 days' notice, subject to assignment timing.

Strong written English and ability to produce concise Government decision products.

Willingness and ability to travel internationally, including up to three trips of up to ten business days when assigned.
