The Role

As Manager, Global Brand Communications - Social Media, Lifestyle, you'll bring the HOKA brand and voice to life across all social media platforms. You'll shape HOKA's voice, brand presence, and influence, planning, executing, and optimizing global social media efforts with a strong emphasis on culture-driven storytelling, lifestyle positioning, and cross-functional collaboration. You'll guide platform strategy, oversee content calendars, manage projects end-to-end, and bridge brand, product, and lifestyle campaigns to life on social, while developing and guiding a small team.

Your Impact

  • Develop, implement, and lead comprehensive social media strategies to drive brand engagement and achieve business objectives
  • Lead social storytelling around lifestyle, collaborations, and cultural moments to expand HOKA's presence beyond performance running
  • Directly manage relationships with agencies and vendors to set objectives, scope work, and manage performance in line with brand goals
  • Lead the development of clear, insight-driven content briefs that align business objectives, audience insights, and platform-native creative direction
  • Partner with influencer marketing to identify creators, tastemakers, and emerging cultural trends that can shape social storytelling
  • Help shape the visual and editorial direction of lifestyle social content for a distinct, elevated, and culturally relevant point of view
  • Oversee and guide social copy development to ensure consistency in brand voice, tone, and messaging across all platforms and campaigns
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to inform content development strategies based on data insights
  • Responsible for social agency creative asset development process from concept to completion
  • Measure and optimize social media campaigns, programs, and tactics, including conducting regular performance reviews with social agency
  • Translate data into actionable insights to refine content strategy and maximize brand impact
  • Provide guidance and oversight to direct report(s) to ensure projects are executed accurately and on schedule
  • Identify industry insights and trends to define and refine channel approach

Who You Are

  • 7+ years of experience in social media, content strategy, or digital marketing, ideally at a consumer and/or lifestyle brand
  • Proven track record of growing large-scale social communities and leading culturally resonant brand storytelling
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, responding quickly and proactively
  • Passionate about the future of social media, cultural trends, and shifting audience behaviors
  • Not interested in just following trends - you want to create them
  • Deep understanding of social-first trends and platform nuances
  • Highly motivated, collaborative, and a driven self-starter
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, project management, and organizational skills
  • Proven track record in effective process, project, budget, and team management
  • Experience working effectively in complex global organizations with diverse constituents
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Expert in Microsoft Office; experience using Dash Social or other social media management platforms and tools
  • Knowledge of Adobe is a plus
  • Experience in social media copywriting
  • Passion and interest in footwear and/or an active lifestyle is a plus
  • Ability to fearlessly problem solve and provide solutions
  • Ability to effectively prepare and present information and respond to questions from management, agencies, and other employees
  • Ability to use independent judgment while navigating strict deadlines without compromising work quality
  • Ability to travel for work-related events
