The Nevada Automotive Test Center (NATC) is currently seeking talented candidates for a Proposal & BD Coordinator at our Silver Springs, NV location. At NATC, the Proposal & BD Coordinator will complete tasks that support the business development department and the engineers who design, manufacture, and test innovative automotive mobility solutions. POSITION SUMMARY : The Proposal & Business Development Coordinator, reporting directly to the Business Development Manager, is responsible for supporting NATCs strategic growth through opportunity identification, proposal development, market research, and customer engagement support. This role serves as a key connector between business development, engineering, program management, and leadership to ensure timely, compliant, and competitive responses to government and commercial opportunities. The coordinator will manage proposal workflows, monitor solicitation trends, maintain proposal and contract data, and support business intelligence efforts to align NATCs services with evolving customer needs and market demands.

This position requires strong analytical skills, proposal writing experience, and an understanding of government contracting processes. This is a hybrid position with the option for full remote work, depending on qualifications and business needs. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS : Research and analyze government and commercial solicitations, Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and Requests for Quotes (RFQs).

Track and monitor proposal assignments, deadlines, and submission status. Draft, write, edit, and format clear, persuasive, and compliant proposal responses. Develop proposal outlines, compliance matrices, schedules, and content plans.

Coordinate with engineers, program managers, and subject matter experts to gather technical content and pricing data. Review proposal submissions for technical accuracy, pricing consistency, and compliance with solicitation requirements. Maintain proposal libraries, templates, past performance documentation, and corporate boilerplate.

Conduct market research on competitor activity, contract awards, and industry trends. Monitor federal business opportunities, customer inquiries, and commercial opportunities. Support development of white papers, capability statements, presentations, and other business development collateral.

Assist in tracking pipeline data, proposal win/loss trends, and customer engagement analytics. Coordinate website inquiries and direct customer opportunities to appropriate internal teams. Support event planning, trade shows, customer visits, and strategic outreach efforts as needed.

Provide backup editorial review for reports, technical documents, and external deliverables. Support continuous improvement of proposal and business development processes, tools, and workflows. Other duties as assigned.

Pay : Starting: $60,000
