• Engage directly with students and their families, conducting thorough assessments and providing interventions tailored to their unique needs.
• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions, focusing on evidence-based practices that promote mental wellness.
• Develop, implement, and monitor integrated care plans that address the specific mental health needs of clients, ensuring access to necessary services and coordination with other providers.
• Play an active role in crisis intervention efforts, applying risk assessment skills to provide immediate support when needed.
• Regularly monitor and document clients’ progress, ensuring timely completion of clinical reports and adherence to organizational policies.
• Contribute to behavior support plans in collaboration with educators and school staff, so that all students can achieve their full potential.
• Stay up-to-date with professional development opportunities and participate in ongoing training to enhance skills and meet licensure requirements.

The primary client population for this role includes students from varied economic and cultural backgrounds who are facing symptoms of major mental illnesses and emotional disorders. Your expertise will directly impact the mental health of these young individuals, helping them navigate personal challenges that can affect their academic performance and overall well-being.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• Valid licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Nevada.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, crucial for effectively interacting with clients, families, and educational personnel.
• Adeptness at building rapport and establishing trust with students and their families.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to achieve common goals effectively.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience working in a school setting or with a similar population is strongly preferred.
• Background in using evidence-based therapeutic approaches and knowledge of trauma-informed care principles.
