The Comfort Place, LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dynamic team. • Conduct individualized therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to each client's unique needs.
• Develop and continually refine comprehensive treatment plans that address specific challenges faced by clients and their families.
• Keep detailed, confidential records of client progress and therapy sessions in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other therapists, to provide holistic care.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with therapeutic practices and enhance client outcomes.
• Facilitate support groups or workshops as needed, covering issues pertinent to marriage, family dynamics, and emotional well-being.

You will work with a diverse client population, including individuals, couples, and families facing a range of challenges such as depression, anxiety, relationship issues, and trauma. Your role will involve understanding the unique cultural, social, and economic factors that shape each client’s experience, allowing for personalized and effective therapeutic interventions. • A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
• Active and valid LMFT license in the state of Maryland.
• Strong clinical skills with a minimum of two years’ experience providing therapeutic services.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster trusting relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Commitment to ethical practice and adherence to professional standards.

• Experience working with a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, and Family Systems Therapy.
• Proficiency in teletherapy techniques and familiarity with digital tools for remote counseling.
• Previous experience working in an outpatient setting is preferred.

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
