• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and intake interviews to establish effective treatment plans and identify the needs of clients.
• Counsel individuals and families using evidence-based therapeutic approaches, supporting them in navigating through personal challenges, particularly with substance abuse issues.
• Provide case management and advocacy services to clients, ensuring they have access to necessary resources and support systems.
• Actively monitor risk factors and collaborate with the clinical team to implement risk mitigation strategies, including escalation to emergency services when necessary.
• Engage in regular feedback collection from clients to assess outcomes, identify barriers to care, and propose recommendations for ongoing improvements in practice.
• Stay informed about current safeguarding policies and procedures, ensuring their integration into daily services and addressing any implementation challenges promptly.

Our ideal candidate will work with a diverse client population that includes children, youth, and adults experiencing a range of mental health issues, with a particular focus on those affected by substance use and abuse. You will play a critical role in fostering resilience and recovery by providing culturally competent services that respect each individual’s unique background and experiences.

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited graduate program is required.
• Active and valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) licensure is mandatory.
• At least two years of experience within a behavioral health setting, demonstrating a strong understanding of mental health practices.
• Proven expertise in conducting psychosocial histories and case evaluations, including critical skills in suicide risk assessment and forensic designations.

• Experience with telehealth platforms and virtual counseling methodologies is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with community resources and support services within the Haverford area or similar populations.
• Previous work in a community health clinic setting will be a distinct advantage.
