Better Mindset Counseling is actively seeking a dedicated Senior Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. • Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to effectively identify clients’ mental health challenges, strengths, and resources.
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy using a variety of evidence-based treatment modalities tailored to each client's needs.
• Implement therapeutic techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care to facilitate client healing.
• Develop and execute individualized treatment plans that establish clear goals and therapeutic interventions, reviewing progress regularly.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure comprehensive, coordinated care for clients.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss client progress and refine treatment strategies, ensuring all approaches align with client-centered care.
• Provide crisis intervention when necessary, including conducting risk assessments and developing safety plans tailored to individual client situations.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with ethical standards and organizational protocols, ensuring sensitive client information is securely managed.

You will work primarily with a diverse spectrum of clients, including individuals, couples, and families. Our clientele tends to include those experiencing challenges such as relationship issues, anxiety, trauma, and other mental health disorders. The cultural and demographic variety of our clients allows for the application of inclusive therapeutic practices that respect and meet the needs of each unique individual.

• Must hold a valid license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Pennsylvania.
• A Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related field is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience providing therapy in a clinical or community health setting.
• Strong understanding of trauma-informed care and experience with evidence-based treatment methods.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for client interactions and documentation.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a remote team.

• Experience engaging with a diverse client population is preferred, particularly with multicultural competence.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and experience providing therapy in a virtual environment.
• Prior involvement in crisis intervention and risk assessment processes is highly desirable.

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
