Key Responsibilities

• Maintain an active caseload of clients, establishing and nurturing rapport throughout the therapeutic process and ensuring adherence to ethical counseling practices.
• Conduct regular sessions with clients to assess progress and efficacy of treatment plans, while being proactive with scheduling follow-ups and managing discharge when appropriate.
• Craft, implement, and continually update personalized treatment plans that focus on client-centered goals, addressing specific needs and challenges effectively.
• Document treatment progress and client insights meticulously, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and providing critical information for future sessions.
• Conduct initial intake assessments to determine clients' mental health status, and develop an effective therapeutic strategy tailored to individual needs.
• Engage in weekly supervision and case management, fostering professional development through feedback and collaborative discussions.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers, ensuring a multidisciplinary approach to treatment that enhances client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will engage with a diverse client base facing various mental health challenges—including anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and eating disorders. Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is mandatory.
• Current, unrestricted, and active license as a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas is required.
• A minimum of one year of clinical experience in an outpatient setting following graduation, demonstrating practical knowledge and operational competency.
• Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and active listening skills that foster a supportive therapeutic environment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with diverse populations and familiarity with various therapeutic modalities will be an advantage.
• A background in substance abuse counseling or working with eating disorders is beneficial.
