Peace of Mind Counseling Services is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team in a remote full-time capacity. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and the ability to cultivate therapeutic relationships with clients dealing with various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and eating disorders. This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 – 100,000 per year.

This fully remote position empowers you to work from the comfort of your own home while engaging with clients through telehealth and secure virtual platforms. Our practice utilizes cutting-edge electronic health record (EHR) systems to manage patient interactions and treatment plans, ensuring seamless communication and documentation. • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health status through insightful interviews and clinical evaluations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each client, incorporating evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
• Provide ongoing individual and group therapy sessions, employing culturally responsive techniques to empower clients in their healing journey.
• Monitor client progress consistently and adapt therapy approaches as needed to optimize outcomes and address emerging challenges.
• Maintain clear and accurate documentation in EHR systems, ensuring compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations.
• Establish strong rapport with clients and facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists, when necessary.

In this role, you will work with a diverse clientele facing a range of mental health issues, including but not limited to major depressive disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, substance use disorders, and eating disorders. We aim to create an inclusive space where clients from various backgrounds feel seen, heard, and respected, promoting a therapeutic alliance built on trust and understanding.

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.
• A minimum of four years of related clinical experience working with diverse populations.
• Deep understanding of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and ethical counseling practices.
• Proven ability to deliver individual and group therapy, utilizing inclusive and culturally sensitive approaches.
• Strong crisis intervention skills complemented by a calm demeanor in high-pressure situations.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating rapport-building with clients from various backgrounds.
• Proficiency in electronic health record systems and other relevant technology platforms.
• Commitment to maintaining professional boundaries and adhering to ethical guidelines and confidentiality standards.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care and outcomes.

• Experience working with clients in an outpatient setting, specifically addressing issues such as substance abuse, trauma, and eating disorders.
• Familiarity with evidence-based treatment approaches and integrating mindfulness or holistic practices into therapy.
• Leadership experience or demonstrated involvement in training or mentoring other mental health professionals.
