Position Overview

Highland Counseling Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic team. Work Environment

This position is fully remote, providing you with the flexibility to work from the comfort of your home while still being connected to a vibrant team. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to understand each child’s developmental needs and challenges.
• Collaborate in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs), ensuring they are tailored to meet the unique needs of each child.
• Actively monitor and evaluate the progress of children and families, adjusting plans as necessary to reflect evolving goals.
• Provide targeted support to families, equipping them with strategies and skills to enhance their child's development and promote a supportive learning environment.
• Utilize evidence-based practices in your interactions, ensuring compliance with all Federal and State regulations specific to early intervention services.
• Build strong, trusting relationships with children and their families, fostering an atmosphere conducive to open communication and collaboration.
• Implement natural environment teaching methodologies and a coaching model to facilitate learning and development in real-life settings.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety standards to protect both staff and clients at all times.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position primarily serves families with young children, including infants and toddlers, who may have disabilities or developmental delays. Our focus on early intervention enables us to support families in fostering essential developmental skills during the critical early years of life—including physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and communication skills. Your role as an LCSW will significantly contribute to the well-being and development of these children and provide vital resources to their families.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Active LCSW licensure through the Department of Public Health.
• A valid driver's license to facilitate occasional travel, as required.
• Experience working with children in early intervention settings; a minimum of one year is required.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with an ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, demonstrating respect and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and families.
• Commitment to Natural Learning Environment Practices and adaptability to different learning styles.

Preferred Experience

• Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply, as this will enhance communication with a diverse clientele.
• Proven history of developing rapport with children and families in a healthcare or social work setting.

Compensation and Benefits
