Job Description

This role is with a well-established, stable and growing firm located in the Concord/Walnut Creek area and is primarily remote; however, it is only open to candidates in the Greater San Francisco Bay Area who are able to come into an office on an as needed basis.

Will be focused on assisting the accounting team with preparing both complex Corporate and Individual (HNW) Tax returns.

This firm has a strong track record of promoting from within and manager level roles are also available. Candidates with a desire to coach, mentor and lead teams are strongly preferred.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5+ years of tax experience at a public accounting firm
  • Strong technical proficiency with the preparation of complex Business and High Net Worth Individual tax returns.
  • Must have solid computer skills technical proficiency wit MS Office Suite (Excel, Word & Outlook) and with recognized complex tax accounting software (CCH ProSystem/Axcess or Lacerte)
  • Must be proactive and quick learner
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Bachelors with an emphasis on Accounting or a related field preferred.
  • CPA or EA preferred but not required.
