Job description


I. Job Summary
This position Supports the growth and development of the Bagster line of business, Sales Representatives. This role will also be responsible for soliciting orders for the Bagster program by identifying prospects, telephoning respective contractors and finally, persuading them to purchase the Specialized WM product and using the WM Bagster Collection service. This role will also be responsible for, but not limited to, building new business relationships with contractors, and home restoration businesses. To achieve budgeted sales goals by developing and implementing sound retention strategies, utilizing strong negotiation efforts to preserve business, and securing contract agreements from previously non-contracted customers.
 

This position is remote however the candidates must reside in Arizona, Florida, Texas or Minnesota based on business need.


II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
 

  • Calls prospective customers from provided list of leads.
  • Identifies prospects by prepared listings provided by Sales Manager.
  • Influences customers to buy product by following a prepared sales talk to give service and product information and price quotations.
  • Influences customers to use WM as the preferred hauler for collection.
  • Ensures timely closure of sale by promptly and accurately recording names, addresses, and purchases within the WM system.
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Maintains operations for this specialized service by following WM policies and procedures.
  • Prepares weekly and monthly reports for the sales manager to ensure pipelining activities are performed.


III. Qualifications - Must live and work in the U.S.


A. Required Qualifications 
 

  • Bachelor's Degree (accredited), in business, marketing, economics, or related field, or in lieu of degree, High School Diploma or GED (accredited)
  • Two (2) years of relevant B2B sales experience


B. Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior outbound sales experience highly preferred

Pay: The expected base pay range for this position across the U.S. is $62,200 - $77,800. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a 10% annual target bonus.
