Empowered Services providesone-on-one in-home and community-based supportfor individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Our focus is to hire and train Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to help people build independence, maintain routines, and stay connected to their communities in meaningful ways.


Role Overview

We are hiring an entry-levelDirect Support Professional (DSP)to provide consistent, structured care for individuals of all ages in the Yamhill County area. (No prior DSP experience required paid training provided.)


This role centers around:

  • Supporting daily routines and household structure
  • Assisting with community-based activities and errands
  • Encouraging independence while maintaining clear expectations
  • Behavioral support
  • Emotional regulation
  • Crisis support


This is a strong fit for someone who isconsistent, patient, and confident maintaining boundaries in a supportive way.


What Youll Do

  • Supportdaily living routines(meals, hygiene, organization)
  • Assist withcommunity access(shopping, errands, outings)
  • Provideemotional regulation supportusing calm, structured approaches
  • Maintainclear boundaries and consistent expectations
  • Assist withhousehold upkeep and organization
  • Encourageindependence and personal responsibility
  • Communicate updates with care teams and complete required documentation
  • Help maintain asafe, predictable, and respectful environment


Compensation & Benefits

  • $23$25 per hour(based on experience and qualifications)
