Job Summary:
The Order Entry Consultant 3 is responsible for the entry of new purchase orders received and handling any internal technical questions that arise from Sales Team members. As an Order Entry Consultant 3, you will work closely with operations, purchasing, quality, and other elements of the organization to ensure total customer satisfaction and support continuous improvements in order entry quality and efficiencies.
DCI, an Allegion brand, is a premier hollow metal door and frame manufacturer based in Fontana, CA. While this position is tied to our Fontana facility, it can be worked remotely.
What You Will Do:
  • Ensure all Order Entry processes are followed and utilize company systems (Driveworks) to gather general POs and identify missing information.
  • Review all entered orders for accuracy and completeness.
  • Contact customers when necessary for any potential order discrepancies.
  • Gather customer information, fulfill customer needs, educate the customer where applicable, and document interactions by entering all contacts, conversations, and quotes into the appropriate system.
  • Train Order Entry Consultant 1 and 2 (OE-1 & OE-2) team members on processes and systems.
  • Support continuous improvements in order entry quality, efficiencies, productivity, and procedural changes.
  • Embrace a cross-training culture with a willingness to learn other jobs or tasks within the Sales Department.
What You Need to Succeed:
  • High School Diploma or GED required (Associates or Bachelor level degree preferred).
  • 7+ years of inside sales experience in a business-to-business (B2B) sales environment.
  • Knowledge of Hollow Metal industry customers, products, and market is required.
  • Strongly developed, specialist knowledge with regards to products, suppliers, customers, and market competition.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish, maintain, and teach a training regime.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills and excellent verbal and written communication/listening skills.
  • Highly developed sense of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction, with skills in negotiations, communications, and providing customer support.
  • Strong decision-making, analytical abilities, and detail orientation.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and work in a fast-paced team environment.

Compensation: This range is provided by Allegion. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience.
  • The expected Base Hourly Range: $38.51 - $48.00/Hr. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
