The Wellcure Mental Therapeutic Clinic is seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT) to join our remote team in Rochester, New York. This role is structured around a remote work setting, allowing for flexibility in balancing personal commitments with professional responsibilities. Within this collaborative environment, therapists utilize telehealth platforms, ensuring effective communication and support for clients across New York State. You will work closely with a diverse team of professionals, including psychologists, social workers, and behavioral specialists, all dedicated to delivering the best care for our clients.

• Conduct individual and family therapy sessions, providing therapeutic support either in clients' homes or via telehealth.
• Assist children with social skills development, coping strategies, and anger management while directly addressing high-risk behaviors such as self-injury or aggression.
• Facilitate communication and decision-making skills for both adolescents and their caregivers, empowering families to handle behavioral challenges effectively.
• Collaborate with the Child and Family Treatment Team, including multidisciplinary experts, to ensure a coordinated and client-centered approach to therapy.
• Prepare and submit comprehensive documentation, including intake assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes, to comply with regulatory standards.
• Participate in monthly team meetings to discuss progress, share insights, and make collaborative treatment recommendations.

In this role, you will be working primarily with children aged 3-20 who have developmental disabilities and cognitive disorders. • Master's Degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field.
• An active and unrestricted LMFT license in the state of New York.
• Availability for at least 5-10 hours per week, primarily during after-school hours (4-7 PM) with potential weekend flexibility.
• Experience in positive behavior support and therapeutic interventions.
• Proficiency in either Spanish or Portuguese is highly desirable, enhancing our ability to serve a diverse client base.

• Previous experience working directly with children aged 3-20, particularly with those who have intellectual or developmental disabilities is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated skills in behavioral therapy, crisis intervention, and family dynamics.
• A valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle for potential in-home therapy sessions.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check, including fingerprinting, is required to ensure the safety of our clients.
