Senior Project Manager

We are seeking a proactive, relationship-driven Project Manager to lead client relationships, community engagement, contract delivery, and business development initiatives. This role serves as the primary point of contact for clients, manages project scope, timelines, budgets, and milestones, and builds strong partnerships with community organizations, government agencies, vendors, and stakeholders. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who can manage complex projects, identify opportunities, and help drive the growth of the firm.

Hybrid - Monday thru Wednesday in Houston office, Thursday and Friday remote

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary client contact, leading meetings, setting agendas, and providing clear project updates.
  • Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, contracts, and deliverables from start to finish.
  • Build and maintain relationships with community organizations, government partners, stakeholders, vendors and subcontractors.
  • Lead community engagement efforts, including meetings, canvassing operations, field teams, and outreach initiatives.
  • Support business development efforts through proposals, capability statements, RFP responses, presentations, and pipeline development.
  • Partner with executive leadership on strategic initiatives and process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain project systems, workflows, and infrastructure to improve operational efficiency.
  • Anticipate challenges, solve problems proactively, and keep projects moving forward.
  • Communicate effectively with diverse audiences, including public officials, contractors, community leaders, and clients.
  • Leverage bilingual English/Spanish skills to strengthen community relationships (preferred).

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • A bachelor's degree in Business, Public Administration, Communications, Political Science, or a related field
  • 3+ years in project management, operations, public affairs, government relations, community engagement, or consulting
  • Bilingual - English/Spanish
  • Experience around government agencies, elected officials, nonprofits, or community organizations
  • Comfort with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, CRM systems, and modern project management platforms
  • Ability to work independently
