Schedule

Full-Time | Remote (Nationwide)
Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Occasional travel and limited evening or weekend responsiveness may be required.

What You’ll Do

As a Technical Sales Manager, you will help expand Deibel’s market presence while supporting long-term client success.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Build and manage a healthy pipeline of qualified sales opportunities
  • Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities
  • Strengthen relationships with existing clients and uncover growth opportunities
  • Partner with Client Services, Operations, and Leadership to ensure a strong client experience
  • Support targeted marketing initiatives and lead-generation campaigns
  • Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activity
  • Provide market feedback and strategic recommendations to leadership
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and client activity in CRM (SugarCRM)
  • Represent Deibel professionally at client meetings, conferences, and industry events

What You Bring

Required:

  • 4+ years of B2B sales experience in food, microbiology, chemistry, pharmaceutical, or related industries
  • Demonstrated success growing accounts and developing new business
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office

Preferred:

  • Background in food science, microbiology, laboratory services, or quality systems
  • Experience working in food manufacturing, food safety, or laboratory environments
  • Experience using consultative or solution-selling methodologies
  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Business, or related field (preferred, not required)
  • Membership or involvement in organizations such as IAFP or related food safety associations
  • Spanish fluency is a plus
