• The role is primarily remote, integrating flexible work settings with a climate-controlled home office environment.

• Collaboration is central to our practice; you will regularly interact with other healthcare providers and department members to deliver comprehensive care for our patients.

• Conduct thorough assessments, create diagnostic evaluations using the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, and develop individualized care plans that honor cultural diversity and meet the special needs of our patient population.

• Monitor and assess each patient’s progress continually, employing tailored interventions and strategies to promote mental health stability and support recovery.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatment records, reports, and clinical information through modern technology, adhering to all regulatory requirements and departmental procedures.

• Collaborate with patients and their families to craft a comprehensive treatment plan that articulates the patient’s needs, desired outcomes, and agreed-upon objectives.

• Participate actively in a multidisciplinary team, valuing the contributions of others while arriving at collective solutions for patient care.

• Act as a resource for patients by coordinating referral options and establishing solid working relationships with other clinicians and referral agencies to facilitate access to necessary treatments.

• Provide education and mentoring to students, interns, and volunteers within the clinical setting, fostering an environment of learning and professional growth.

• Engage in peer review, clinical collaboration, and chart audits under the guidance of clinical supervisors, contributing to collective team development and enhanced patient care.

The primary focus of this role is on individuals and families navigating the challenges associated with cancer diagnoses. This position requires a sensitive and informed approach, as you work to provide emotional support and therapeutic interventions tailored to the specific experiences and needs of this patient population.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid State License as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• Experience in a healthcare or clinical environment, particularly with patients facing chronic illness, is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic techniques applicable to a school setting is advantageous.
