The Opportunity

i360technologies is seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect who will lead technical architecture design and integration strategy for the client's Core Financial System and planned Additional Operating Capabilities (AOC).

This role ensures architectural alignment with FedRAMP Moderate, NIST 800-53 Moderate security controls, and federal financial management standards. The Solution Architect serves as a senior technical authority supporting a multi-agency federal modernization initiative operating within a highly regulated cloud environment.

What You Will Do
  • Define end-to-end architecture for Client Core Financial System enhancements; develop secure integration frameworks with agency mission and administrative systems.
  • Conduct fit-gap analyses aligned with federal financial standards; ensure alignment with FIPS 199 Moderate system categorization.
  • Develop architecture documentation and technical design artifacts.
  • Map system architecture to NIST SP 800-53 Moderate control requirements; support FedRAMP Moderate compliance documentation.
  • Coordinate and support Third-Party Assessment Organization (3PAO) activities; assist with Authority-to-Operate (ATO) documentation and lifecycle support.
  • Review and validate control implementation evidence and system security documentation; ensure alignment with FISMA and client cybersecurity requirements.
  • Ensure solutions leverage SaaS/PaaS technologies with minimal custom development; support secure configuration management and system integration planning.
  • Ensure interoperability and scalability across serviced agencies; align architecture with clieasury and Fiscal Service security policies.
  • Serve as senior technical advisor to the Project Manager and Government stakeholders; conduct architecture reviews and technical design validations, and provide guidance on risk mitigation and compliance impacts.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum ten (10) years of enterprise architecture experience.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and implementing solutions in FedRAMP Moderate environments.
  • Deep knowledge of NIST SP 800-53, 800-37 (RMF), and 800-171 frameworks.
  • Experience supporting 3PAO assessments and security control validation.
  • Experience with cloud-based enterprise systems in federal environments; strong analytical and technical documentation skills.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience supporting federal financial management systems.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert, TOGAF, or equivalent certification.
  • Experience supporting multi-agency modernization initiatives.
What Success Looks Like
  • Client architecture designs are FedRAMP Moderate/NIST 800-53 compliant and pass 3PAO assessment with minimal findings.
  • SaaS/PaaS solutions are delivered with minimal custom development, ensuring interoperability and scalability across serviced agencies.
  • The Project Manager and Government stakeholders rely on the architect's guidance for technical risk mitigation and compliance decisions.
Security & Eligibility Requirements
  • S. Citizenship or Lawful Permanent Residency with a minimum of three (3) years of U.S. residency
  • Successful completion of a Moderate Risk background investigation and FBI fingerprinting
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain an HSPD-12 Personal Identity Verification (PIV) credential
  • Execution of a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)
  • Compliance with Bureau of the Fiscal Service Security Rules of Behavior
  • Completion of required cybersecurity and privacy awareness training
  • Work must be performed within the United States (remote access from foreign locations is not permitted)
  • Employment is contingent upon contract award and Government approval of candidate qualifications
