Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Program Manager, Enterprise Technology & AI based in Netherlands.

As a Senior Program Manager, you will lead complex, cross-functional technology and AI initiatives that support enterprise-wide transformation and operational excellence. You will translate strategic priorities into structured roadmaps, measurable outcomes, and coordinated execution plans. Working across technology, finance, legal, product, sales, and business operations, you will bring clarity to complex programs and align stakeholders around shared objectives. The role combines strategic thinking with hands-on program execution, requiring strong judgment and the ability to navigate ambiguity. You will help strengthen governance, identify risks, resolve dependencies, and maintain momentum across distributed teams. This is a highly visible opportunity to influence how enterprise technology and AI capabilities are planned, delivered, and continuously improved.

Accountabilities
  • Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of complex Enterprise Technology and AI programs, including defining scope, developing roadmaps, planning resources, and tracking delivery.
  • Establish clear success metrics, maintain regular reporting cadences, communicate progress and risks to senior leadership, and recommend effective paths forward when challenges arise.
  • Partner with business and technology stakeholders to understand underlying problems, desired outcomes, priorities, and solution trade-offs.
  • Drive alignment across distributed, cross-functional teams by facilitating decisions, resolving dependencies, and maintaining execution momentum.
  • Improve program governance frameworks, intake processes, operating models, and ways of working across the technology organization.
  • Translate complex technical and business requirements into structured, actionable work plans that are accessible to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Identify risks and interdependencies across the broader program portfolio and proactively mitigate blockers before they affect delivery.
  • Operate effectively in a remote, async-first environment while promoting strong documentation, transparency, accountability, and collaboration.
  • Serve as a trusted program execution partner to technology leadership and contribute to strategic initiatives spanning enterprise systems, data, AI, security, infrastructure, and architecture.
Requirements
  • 6+ years of program management experience, with a strong track record of delivering large-scale, cross-functional Enterprise Technology and AI programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to simplify complex processes, structure ambiguous problems, and create practical approaches that drive measurable outcomes.
  • Experience influencing without direct authority, building trust with senior stakeholders, and aligning teams across functions such as Finance, Legal, Sales, Product, and Technology.
  • Ability to operate comfortably at both strategic and execution levels, moving between executive-level communication and detailed program management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting program status, risks, recommendations, and strategic updates to senior and executive audiences.
  • Familiarity with enterprise technology domains such as business systems, data, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or enterprise architecture.
  • Strong knowledge of program and project management methodologies and tools, with experience in Agile, Scrum, SAFe, or comparable frameworks.
  • PMP, CSM, or an equivalent program/project management certification is a plus.
  • Experience working effectively within globally distributed teams, with a strong preference for asynchronous communication, documentation, and high-trust collaboration.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, prioritization, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Benefits
  • Flexible remote work environment designed to support globally distributed teams.
  • Flexible paid time off to support work-life balance and personal well-being.
  • Comprehensive benefits supporting health, financial security, and overall well-being.
  • Equity compensation and employee stock purchase opportunities.
  • Growth and development support through dedicated learning and development resources.
  • Parental leave programs designed to support employees and their families.
  • Opportunities to collaborate with cross-functional teams working on enterprise technology, AI, data, security, and business transformation.
  • A high-trust, async-first working culture focused on autonomy, transparency, continuous learning, and meaningful impact.
