Supplier Payables Team Lead
The Opportunity:
Diagnose and resolve complex system and process issues independently. Lead root-cause investigation for high-impact issues such as system defects and integration failures. Provide training and guidance to junior auditors, internal stakeholders, and external users. Ensure compliance with internal policies, external regulations, and recordkeeping requirements. Execute audit controls and support SOX testing of key and non-key controls. Provide Tier 3 Helpdesk support. Participate in system upgrade testing and disaster recovery exercises. Identify, document, and track control issues related to workflow approvals and system validations. Assist with drafting and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Partner with automation tools such as AI-assisted invoice processing, automated notifications) to reduce manual workloads. Identify recurring issues that could benefit from automation and recommend process enhancements. Assist in administering AP systems such as such as Ivalua and Oversight. Help generate and maintain functional reports for AP operations. Support efforts in automation of AP processes and reporting. Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to troubleshoot AP system issues. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.
You Have:
  • 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or financial or administrative support
  • Experience in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with systems such as Ivalua, Costpoint, Concur, or Oversight
  • Experience with government contracting compliance or SOX
  • Experience with reporting, data analysis, or dashboard tools
  • Experience with customer service

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,200.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
